Yesterday we went on our annual Christmas tree hunt. Of all the Christmas tree farms I have been to, this was the most backwoods, what-you-see-is-what-you-get, all-in-the-family operation ever. The old man in charge "was fixin' on goin' on sevntee", had zero sense of personal space and literally told jokes about his dead dog. And the broken down three-wheeled golf cart and line of rusty old demolition derby cars aren't the typical welcome-Christmas decorations. I had to laugh because it was definately not the type of place I would have chosen if there were other options, but there aren't any other tree farms, so it had to do. Don't get me wrong, the crazy guys were nice and all, but I really could have done without the late middle-aged, overall-wearing, son licking his fingers as he made T-man and Fearless cotton candy from a machine that I didn't fully trust was sanitary in the first place. I could go into more detail, but you get the picture. Unique experience. Eventually, we did find a tree and the day was memorable.
Camera Update: We decided to send in our trusty Canon and get a digital SLR some other time. I don't have any Thanksgiving pics yet because we haven't developed the disposable, but I did get some good shots with the digital outside during our annual Christams tree hunt. The camera works great as long as you don't need the flash! Hopefully, it will be back with the flash in a few weeks in time for Christmas.

That sounds like a great and crazy experience all in one. I love those moments. Those are the memories that you will never forget. Who could forget the man licking his fingers and talking about his dog while you are trying to be festive. Love real trees, aren't they the best. My parents used to have them when I was a child and they are awesome.
When did Fearless break his arm?
Great picts but I'd love to see a little bit of you too! What little men your boys are becoming!
You have the cutest family! <3
Your kids are honestly three of the cutest I have ever seen!
