On the brighter side, Carrie will be going home tomorrow! Dr. Brain 2.0 (it's the weekend, and this weekend Dr. Brain is not on call) came by today and said everything looks good and she can plan to go home tomorrow. The main thing is that she listens to her body, doesn't push herself too hard, and takes naps when she needs to. Dr. Brain 2.0 also removed the gauze turban and said the incision looks great. Carrie has converted over to the head scarf.
What a crazy week. It's amazing to look back over the past few weeks and think about all that has transpired and how things have worked out. The Lord really has blessed us with how things have gone.
I think it's time for some oreos.

Yay! Congrats on the walking papers! Healing takes a lot of energy - keep resting so that you can continue to recover. You're doing great and continue to be in our prayers!
