Blogging Award

Awhile ago, Kate, from the yummy Delicious As Pie, sent me the "Hard Working Mommy Blogger" award.  Thanks Kate!!

And now I share the love to seven other hard working mommy-bloggers.  Although I think that just the fact that you are a "mommy" immediately means you are hard working...so I think pretty much every mom blogger I know deserves this one!

Here are my seven awardees...
No, literally...
Ski'ing Through Life!
The Bastow's
My Little "Son-Shine"
Adventures With Beth
Tales of Two Thirty-Somethings, Two Kids & A Dog
Life With Sweet Pea

Here's the instructions if you've been awarded this bloggy award:
1. Accept the award (by leaving a comment on the original award post)
2. Post about the award on your blog (include the image of the award) together with the name of the person who has granted the award, and her blog link.
3. List 7 other Mommy Bloggers that you want to pass the award along to (no backsies). Remember to contact the bloggers to let them know they have been chosen for this award.

I was book tagged again!

This time, I was tagged by Natalie...

Closest book: My First Monologue Book
Page 123
Fifth Sentence: "I guess we got a little dirty."

Too funny, I think that is the story of my boys' lives!

This time I'll tag Merilee and Lacy, and anyone else that has a book close by...

Book tag

*Find the book closest to you with at least 123 pages.
*Turn to page 123.
*Find the fifth sentence.
*Post the next 3 sentences.
*Tag 5 people

I was tagged....the book closest to me is: Is There an Object to Your Lesson?: Object Lessons for Teaching the Gospel

"Next show the small toothpick-sized sword and draw a comparison between the size of the swords and the students' knowledge of the scriptures. Ask students which sword they would rather take with them into battle. This is a good exercise for students to see that they need to be studying the scriptures on a daily basis, especially those young men and women preparing to serve missions."

Not to exciting of an entry...but it is a cool book help you think of object lessons to go along with teaching in church. I haven't actually used an object lesson from it yet, but I'm sure I will.

I tag:
